SWEET SHOP CAKE

  

Ingredients...
2 bags of cake mix 
4 eggs
12 tablespoons of water 
5 bright colour food colourings
Chocolate fudge icing 
2 packs of Chocolate fingers
4 kit kats 
1 bag of smarties, minstrels, M&Ms, Milky Bar buttons, magic stars or any you wish to choose
Edible glitter (optional) 

What you will need...
A cake tin 
A wood spoon
A mixing bowl/cake mixer
A spoon 
Ribbon 
A silver cake board 
5 bowls 
A butter knife 

How to make this fabulous creation... 

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.  Firstly mix two packs of cake mix, with 4 eggs, 12 tablespoons of water in a mixing bowl or in a cake mix machine. Make sure there is no lumps in the mixture. 


2. Separate the mixture into 5 seperate bowls, add 4 drops of the food colouring of your choice into the bowls. Use a different food colour in each bowl for a rainbow effect. 

3. Get your cake tin and take one of the colours of cake mix, and pour it into the cake tin. Then take the next colour and pour it on top, be careful not to mix the colours and pour it in slowly so the second colour won't sink. Do this until all 5 colours of cake mixture are in the cake tin.      

                         
4. Put the cake into the pre heated oven for around 40 minutes. Check on the cake and once it has risen and has started turning golden on top, take it out. To make sure your cake is ready, you should put a butter knife through the centre of the cake, if your knife comes out clean without any mixture on then it is ready. 


5. Put a plate over the top of the cake tin with the cake in and flip upside down. Carefully release the cake from the cake tin. The cake should be upside down on the plate. Let the cake cool down. Once it's cool you can turn the cake the right way up. Then place it on to the silver cake plate. 

6. Take a butter knife and the chocolate fudge icing. Spread the icing all over the cake until it is completely covered. Then spread it all around the silver plate that you can see from under the cake. 

7. Line chocolate fingers all around the cake pressing them into the fudge icing so they stick.  You can then tie it with a bow to hold them in place. Then, press smarties on to the surface of the silver plate that should be covered in fudge icing. 


8. Take your kit kats and use them to section the cake into quarters. In each quarter you should dedicate it to each section to the type of sweets you desire. Use a different treat for each section and finally sprinkle it with glitter to give it an extra wow. 

9. Tuck in.
